Authors who use Learning Toolbox to make a conference ePoster often identify exciting new ways they can also use Learning Toolbox within their teaching and learning.
One great example of this is how the Faculty of Medicine at University of Duisburg-Essen have been using Learning Toolbox to support bedside teaching in their medical degree. They saw that they could use Learning Toolbox to easily package together and share targetted learning resources, “learning objectives, course content, links to supplementary reading and guidance on examination techniques”, with their medical students. Even better, these resources could be easily accessed and viewed on a mobile device (ideal for bedside teaching and learning) and they could ensure the students were always viewing the latest version.
You can find out more about their innovative work in this article (My personalised App: A Tool for Improvement of clinical Sessions. Usability and satisfaction of medical students) recently published in MedEdPublish.
We love the creative ways that authors are using Learning Toolbox to support learning and knowledge exchange – at conferences and beyond. If you have any examples from your own work then do please contact us to let us know.
