Whilst Kubify is often used by conferences as ePosters, we are also delighted to see other organisations finding creative ways of using Kubify to help promote, share and support their work.
Two examples of this are the pilot project being run by Fruit Works and the community group use by Wycliffe Neighbourhood Association.
Fruit Works is a UK-based social enterprise helping communities in Bradford and Leeds to plant and maintain fruit trees. Their aim is to support people to grow their own fruit as a step towards building resilient local food systems. They’ve worked with communities and schools to set up new orchards and to train the communities to maintain them. As part of this, in 2025, they are now piloting whether they can use Kubify’s Learning Toolbox to give those groups an easy way of accessing all the up-to-date support material when they need it.
So, using Kubify, they have created an Orchard Resource stack which contains links to useful resources such as “how to” videos, a fruit growing calendar identifying what needs to be done each month and lesson plans for teachers. The QR code linking to the Orchard Resource stack can then be displayed at the orchard itself, meaning that volunteers have easy access to these materials right where they need them. We love this idea for using Kubify and are looking forward to hearing how their pilot progresses.
Meanwhile Wycliffe Neighbourhood Association has also used Kubify to create a Wycliffe Green Space info stack, which contains information about all the projects that this community group is running. It gives people one place where they can easily access all the group’s information, including information about their own orchards (which were set-up with help from Fruit Works) as well as other projects and initiatives. Currently the link to their info stack is included on all information sent out from the group, but ultimately they also plan to display the QR code next to the orchards on Wycliffe Green Space as well. This will then give everyone an easy way of finding out more about the orchard and the group behind it whenever they walk past.
If you are a charity or community group that would be interested in exploring how you could use Kubify to share information and/or promote your work then just contact us to find out more.
