Read all about it! “Teaching medical and health sciences students to develop ePosters with Learning Toolbox”. Nearly 200 students in a University in Oman were taught how to produce ePosters using Learning Toolbox. You can read the research paper, reporting on this study and its evaluation, on MedEdPublish. We love the quote from the first reviewer that “I feel that this paper demonstrates that this [practical ways of using new innovations] is possible and [this paper] should be read by all those in TEL and curriculum planning as well as those involved in conference organisation“.
Learning Toolbox is providing the ePoster platform at EC-TEL 2018 (European Conference of Technology Enhanced Learning) in Leeds, UK. If you work in technology and education then there is still time to submit an abstract for an ePoster at EC-TEL 2018. Submissions deadline is 15th April.
We’re very pleased to announce that Learning Toolbox will be providing the ePoster platform for SESAM 2018 (The Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine) in Bilboa, Spain. All of SESAM’s posters will be ePosters this year!
Happy New Year! To get 2018 off to a good start we have made some great, new updates to the Learning Toolbox. Authors, you can now upload powerpoint presentations to your stack/ePoster and we will automatically convert these to PDF files that are viewable from within Learning Toolbox. Viewers will soon be able to pinch and zoom in/out (within the app) on images that you have uploaded. Domain owners, we have added some new functionality to help you to very easily invite authors to join your domain and start creating stacks/ePosters.

It has been incredibly exciting taking Learning Toolbox to AMEE’s large, international, annual conference. Seeing the ePosters in action and meeting our ePoster authors for the first time (in the real world) was wonderful! The feedback has been very positive and we hope to see you all again next year.
Learning Toobox has been chosen as the ePoster platform for AMEE 2017! AMEE (The Association for Medical Education) runs a very large (4,000 participant), international conference every year. We are delighted to have been chosen. The next few months will be an exciting challenge for us as we take the Learning Toolbox for ePosters solution to such a large and prestigious conference. We are really looking forward to working with the pioneering ePoster authors and the AMEE Board.
